Founder / Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Victor Urzola Herrera
Dr Victor Urzola is an internationally recognised reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeon, known for his high level of surgical specialisation in complex reconstructive cases and advanced cosmetic procedures. He completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Milan in Italy, graduating with honours, and went on to specialise in microsurgery at Henri Poincaré University in France.
He later completed fellowships in facial aesthetic surgery at the Policlinique de Gentilly in France and in post bariatric and body contouring surgery at Hackensack Medical Center in New Jersey in the United States. Dr Urzola is also a former fellow of the American Anti Aging Association, where he received his stem cell training and was subsequently appointed as a professor, and he further expanded his expertise with training in genetics and genomics at Stanford University in California.
He has served as president, vice president and treasurer of the Costa Rican Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, reflecting both his clinical leadership and his commitment to the development of his specialty.
